MARIANNE
BETH
Marine Naturalist & Whale Watching Guide
I came to Cabo in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the beauty of Baja. The desert, the ocean, the wildlife—everything captured my heart. I started out as a scuba diver, then became a desert and bird-watching guide, but over time I discovered my true passion: whales.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to learning as much as I can about them. I read constantly, attend every talk and conference I can, and spend every possible moment observing whales out on the water. I’ve worked in all kinds of whale-related roles—from guiding on the ocean (which is where I’m truly happiest) to teaching and helping train future whale-watching guides.
Nothing makes me feel more alive than being out at sea, watching and listening to whales, and sharing these magical moments with others.
LUISA
My name is Luisa Hernández, originally from Acapulco, Guerrero. I’ve always been drawn to the ocean, which led me to study marine biology and become a certified Dive Master. Sixteen years ago, I moved to the Sea of Cortez and immediately fell in love with the incredible marine life of Baja California Sur.
MONICA
I’m Monica. I’m Mexican, a marine biology graduate, a surfer, and mother of two. My life has always been connected to nature—the ocean, the plants in my garden, and the simple happiness that comes from living close to both.
I’m deeply in love with the sea and all its beauty, from the smallest details underwater to the incredible encounters we experience on the surface. When I’m not guiding, you’ll usually find me surfing, exploring the coastline, or tending to my garden.
Join me at Salty Cabo for the perfect dose of ocean, sunshine, and salinity. I can’t wait to share the beauty of Baja with you.
