Transitioning to a local boat, we set our sights on the incredible schools of Mobula rays, typically just 5-30 minutes from shore. With snorkel gear ready, you’re always prepared to take the plunge!

Our experienced guides prioritize your safety, ensuring a fantastic and secure day at sea. While the highlight is snorkeling with Mobula rays, you might also encounter Orcas, Marlins, Dolphins, and enjoy the enchanting beauty of Cerralvo Island. Little is known about those so-called “Mobula Rays”. The scientific name is Mobula Munkiana or Munk’s Devil Rays. That what is known is that they migrate each year in ten of thousands into the Sea of Cortez. During spring/summer (April-July) and Autumn/winter (November-January), these acrobatic rays are visiting the shores of Baja California Sur.  Mobula Rays are the smaller version of the famous Manta Rays. Following the plankton and nutrients especially Snorkeler and Freediver have the chance to witness these gigantic schools of rays. It is believed that the Mobula rays come every year for mating and reproduction. Mobula Rays are peaceful and harmless and usually shy and will keep their distance from the observer.
